Mid January Update
We've just finished up another great holiday season of skiing and riding here at the Nob!

We saw fantastic conditions for our Holiday skiing and riding period, with winter storm 'Draco' coming to town just days before Christmas, and leaving 18+ inches of snow on our slopes!
Our Winter Sports School has been going full tilt since the beginning of winter.  Our ski school staff did a great job this Holiday period, engaging youngsters and adults alike!

 Terrain Parks
Our award winning terrain park crew spent December 26th, 27th and 28th pushing out our Mainline and Jib Yard parks!

By the morning of the 29th our crew had built and shaped the first 100% open, terrain park system in the state, full of jumps, rails, boxes and more!  Boasting more than 40 features and a handle tow that services the Jib Yard park on weekends, Nub's is quickly establishing its self as a heavy hitter in the Mid-West Terrain Park game.

 Amazing conditions!
Our world class grooming team has been doing an awesome job keeping the hill fresh for our customers!
Here are a few shots taken on Pintail Peak just after winter storm Draco dropped more than 18inches of fresh snow on us.

All around, a great season!
It's true mother nature has been a bit grumpy this season, but never fear, the crew at Nub's is dedicated to bringing you the best possible skiing and riding we can.
The proof is in the images!

2012/2013 Season Update
Another year has come and gone bringing the 12/13 Ski and Ride Season to a start here in Michigan.

Mother nature has been a wild woman this preseason;  Warm front, cold fronts, snow, rain, ice mix etc...
But our world class snow making and grooming crew has done a stellar job getting our slopes packed full of snow and ready for another great season of skiing and riding.

Snow making is a tough job, definitely not for the faint of heart.
These guys put their all in to producing the Mid-West's best snow, often times, in high winds and freezing cold temperatures;  Hats off to our dedicated crew!

One of the perks of working such a physically demanding job is the scenery :)

After the snow begins to pile up, it's up to our grooming fleet to push out the piles and get the slopes looking pretty!

The 2012/2013 season is well underway here at Nub's, and we are looking forward to spending ours, with you!

The WHOOPPEE's are a great group of people!

Founded by Reb and Wyleen Stacey, this group of Kentucky/Ohio natives have been making yearly trip up north to ski Nub's since the 1977/78 season.

General Manager Jim Bartlett had this to say about the group;
"The coolest thing about these guys is their focus on families and fun. They've introduced literally hundreds of folks from southern Ohio and Kentucky to skiing in northern Michigan."

It has been an unusual winter to say the least!
Mother Nature has been providing a roller coaster of weather since November 2011.
Now nearing the end of February, with little to no snow in your
backyards, it is reasonable to say she is having a hard time making up her mind!

NO WORRIES
Nub's has you covered!
We're skiing on base depths up to 52" on 100% of our trails and runs.
